The meaning of the belt colour: student grading 10th Kup - 1st Kup, master grading and dan grading in taekwon-do with black belt.

Definition

"Tae" means "foot," "leg," or "to step on"; "Kwon" means "fist," or "fight"; and "Do" means the "way" or "discipline".

Kyok-Pa
